CPL Naples is dedicated to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. We are continuously working to enhance the accessibility and usability of our website, and we strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to ensure that our site is accessible for all users.
Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 19, 2025
Calusa Pines Landscaping (“CPL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across cplnaples.net and related online touchpoints.
Note for CPL: This statement is designed for Wix. Headings are intentionally smaller (H2/H3/H4) to paste cleanly. Replace bracketed placeholders before publishing.
Scope
This Statement applies to the public website at cplnaples.net and to content we control there (text, images, forms, PDFs, and video/audio we publish). It does not cover third‑party services we don’t control (e.g., Google Maps embeds, social media platforms, third‑party widgets), though we strive to choose accessible vendors.
Accessibility standards & approach
-
Target standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
-
Approach: Continuous improvement. We design, build, and test with accessibility in mind, and remediate issues we discover or that users report.
-
Platform: The site is built on Wix, which provides accessible building blocks when used properly; however, final accessibility depends on our content choices (e.g., headings, alt text, labels, contrast).
Measures we take
-
Design & content
-
Use clear hierarchy and proper heading order (H1→H2→H3)
-
Provide alt text for meaningful images; mark decorative images as decorative
-
Ensure link names make sense out of context
-
Maintain color contrast that meets AA (4.5:1 for text)
-
Provide captions/transcripts for media we publish
-
-
Development
-
Ensure forms have labels, instructions, and clear error feedback
-
Maintain visible keyboard focus and logical tab order
-
Use ARIA only when needed and correctly
-
-
Testing
-
Regular checks with keyboard‑only navigation
-
Automated scans (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse) and manual screen reader spot‑checks (e.g., NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver)
-
Remediation tracked in our content backlog
-
Compatibility
Our website is intended to work with:
-
The latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox)
-
Operating systems that support these browsers (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
-
Common assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, voice control, switch inputs)
Older browsers or operating systems may not provide full support.
Known or potential limitations (in progress items)
We’re actively working on the following areas and welcome feedback:
-
Ensuring all images and icons have accurate alt text or are correctly marked decorative
-
Verifying color contrast for any brand or background overlays
-
Confirming mobile menu and other interactive elements have clear focus indicators and are fully keyboard navigable
-
Providing transcripts/captions for any future video or audio we publish
